Surviving the tornado
June 15th, 2007 at 11:29 am by Administrator in DreamsThis one was so intense it woke me up. I was driving somewhere and there was a tornado off in the distance. It was a very strange looking thing. Instead of a funnel shape it looked more like a blower. Odd looking yet very functional. It was a pinkish red color. I thought I out ran it. I stopped at a house where Stef and some other friends were. Don’t know who’s house it was. I seem to think we were renting it for the weekend. It was on the road next to the house I grew up in. The tornado took a turn right for us. I jumped to the ground beside a bed and put a large pillow over me. It came directly over us. The force of it was ripping the pillow from my hands, but I struggled to hang on to it. There was stuff flying everywhere. I heard someone scream. I thought it was Stef and I was worried that she was about to get sucked up into it. I tried to look to see who it was, but there was too much flying around. I had to stay down. In a moment it passed off us and everyone was ok. It wasn’t Stef that had screamed, it was another of our friends. It wasn’t a scary dream, but it was very intense. Fun actually. Nothing like an adrenalin rush while you’re sleeping.

Haha!
I have tornado dreams, ALL THE TIME. Especially when I lived in Morgantown I had them nightly..the reason, is that Morgantowns volunteer fire alarm is the same alarm that notifies us Ohioans that a tornado is coming. That alarm went off every night, and I ALWAYS dreamed I was being run over by a tornado!
BTW– you seem to have a lot of dreams that have your old house that you grew up in…..hmmm.
